Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor vital signs and document client progress accurately
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and light housekeeping
- Administer medications and provide companionship
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities
- Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- State-certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) or willing to obtain
- Minimum 1 year experience in home healthcare or similar setting
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Background check and drug screening required
