Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life.
- Monitor and report changes in client condition or behavior to the nursing staff immediately.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities.
- Administer medication as prescribed and supervised by a registered nurse.
- Maintain a safe and clean home environment for all clients.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred.
- Current Driver’s License and auto insurance are required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable nature.
