Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding patients who have dietary restrictions.
- Administer medication reminders and accurately document vital signs and daily logs.
- Provide emotional support, companionship, and conversation to alleviate loneliness.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, changing linens, and cleaning the client's living space.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, shopping trips, or social activities using company vehicle or personal car.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical or mental condition to the supervising nurse or case manager.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is strongly preferred.
- Valid Driverβs License and a clean driving record.
- CPR and Basic First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a genuine passion for patient care.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and assist patients with mobility as needed.
