Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and empathetic individual to join our healthcare team. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in helping patients maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing patients.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, transfers, and light exercise routines.
- Monitor patient health status and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks strictly related to patient care.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Document daily activities and vital signs accurately in patient records.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current Texas Home Health Aide (HHA) certification or active CNA license.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and TB test.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for helping others.
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed (up to 50 lbs).
