Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to improve mental well-being.
- Monitor and report changes in a client's physical or mental condition to the supervising nurse.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a safe living environment.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and errands as needed.
- Administer medication reminders as directed by a licensed nurse.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred.
- Current state licensure or certification to practice.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and assist patients with mobility limitations.
