Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide assistance with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Monitor patients' health status, reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing staff immediately.
- Accompany patients to medical appointments and provide transportation support.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a safe and clean living environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to patients to enhance their quality of life.
- Administer prescribed medication under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate nature with a desire to help others.
- Basic computer literacy for documentation purposes.
- Willingness to undergo mandatory home health aide training.
