Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as eating and mobility.
- Monitor and report changes in patient health status, mood, or behavior to the Nursing Supervisor.
- Administer medication reminders and assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Transport patients to medical appointments or therapy sessions as needed.
Qualifications
- Current California Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Previous experience in home health or long-term care preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
