Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Provide light housekeeping and laundry services to maintain a safe and clean living environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life.
- Monitor and report any changes in the patient's physical or mental condition to the nursing supervisor.
- Assist with mobility, including transferring patients to and from bed or wheelchair.
- Remind patients to take medication at scheduled times.
Qualifications
- Current Nevada Home Health Aide (HHA) certification or CNA license required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to lift and move patients up to 50 lbs safely.
