Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support patients with mobility, transfers, and light exercises as prescribed.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Monitor patient health and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff immediately.
- Accompany patients to medical appointments and run essential errands.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce patient isolation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide (CHHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
- Valid California Driver’s License and current auto insurance.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- A genuine passion for helping others and a positive attitude.
