- Process medical claims with 99% accuracy using provided specialized billing software
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for patients
- Manage accounts receivable and follow up on unpaid claims
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare billing regulations
- Generate monthly reports on billing performance metrics
- Collaborate with clinical teams to resolve billing discrepancies
- Train on new billing technologies and equipment as implemented
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding
- Expertise with Epic or NextGen EHR systems
- Strong analytical skills for claim denials and appeals
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
