Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in client condition
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and light housekeeping
- Administer prescribed medications under supervision
- Transport clients to medical appointments and errands
- Maintain accurate care documentation
- Build trust-based relationships with clients and families
Qualifications
- Current Missouri HHA certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and perform standing tasks
- Empathy and patience when working with elderly clients
