Responsibilities
- Personal Care Assistance: Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Vital Monitoring: Monitor and report changes in client health, vital signs, and mood to the nursing supervisor.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take prescribed medications on time and assist with medication administration as directed by a nurse.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage clients in conversation and recreational activities to reduce isolation.
- Light Housekeeping: Assist with light housekeeping duties such as laundry, meal preparation, and tidying up the client's living space.
- Transportation: Accompany clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, or social outings as needed.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of daily care activities and client interactions.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; CNA or Home Health Aide certification preferred.
- Licensure: Valid Driver's License and current auto insurance required.
- Experience: Prior experience in home health or personal care is a plus, but we welcome motivated candidates willing to learn.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods; physical stamina to assist with patient transfers.
- Character: Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a strong commitment to patient privacy and confidentiality.
