Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide medication reminders and report any changes in the client's condition to the supervising nurse or case manager.
- Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation according to client dietary needs.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their quality of life.
- Aid clients with mobility issues, including transferring and walking with assistance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients.
- Document daily care logs and incident reports accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- State Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
