Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding clients who need extra support.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to combat loneliness.
- Administer medication reminders and document care logs accurately.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, vacuuming, and dishwashing.
- Transport clients to medical appointments or social activities as needed.
- Monitor and report any changes in a client's physical or mental condition to the supervising nurse.
Qualifications
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- A genuine, patient, and professional demeanor is essential.
