Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as weight, temperature, and blood pressure.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to specific dietary restrictions.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and cleaning to maintain a safe and tidy living environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to improve their quality of life.
- Assist with medication reminders and transportation to medical appointments.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid Tennessee driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a healthcare team.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.
