Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning based on specific dietary restrictions.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, bed making, and cleaning to ensure a safe environment.
- Administer medication reminders as directed by the supervising Registered Nurse (RN).
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce patient isolation and improve mental well-being.
- Monitor and document changes in a client's physical or mental condition and report them promptly.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and social activities.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Valid Florida Driver's License and reliable personal vehicle.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to lift and assist patients as required.
