Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure patient safety.
- Monitor patient health and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping related to patient care.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and families.
- Administer medication reminders as directed by a nurse.
Qualifications
- Valid Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills and a patient demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Experience in home health or long-term care is preferred but not required.
