As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care to clients in the comfort of their own homes, helping them maintain their independence and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Administer medication under the supervision of a licensed nurse (if applicable).
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties related to client care.
- Transport clients to medical appointments or recreational activities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not always required.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- Candidates must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screening.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A genuine passion for helping the elderly and disabled community.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs (if applicable).
