Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields for surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control protocols
- Manage surgical equipment and ensure proper sterilization
- Document procedures accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with anesthesia and nursing teams for seamless patient care
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 3 years of recent surgical tech experience
- Expertise in orthopedic or neurosurgical procedures preferred
- BLS certification and ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
