Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist clients with mobility issues, including transferring in and out of bed or wheelchairs.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Monitor and report changes in a client’s physical or mental condition.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with errands.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a safe living environment.
Qualifications
- Current New York State (NYS) Home Health Aide (HHA) certification or license.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Clean criminal record and excellent references.
