We are currently looking for a dynamic Part-Time Registered Nurse to join our high-performing unit. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional healthcare services to our diverse patient population.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments while strictly adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Monitor patient vitals and responses to care, escalating issues to the appropriate personnel immediately.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient encounters and care activities.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by the unit.
