Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their quality of life.
- Monitor and record client health status, reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing staff immediately.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry as assigned.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with transportation logistics.
- Administer prescribed medication and adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Candidates must be compassionate, patient, and have a genuine desire to help others.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required for home visits.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic computer literacy and the ability to complete electronic documentation.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
