Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including transferring, walking, and wheelchair use.
- Prepare and serve meals according to individual dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to residents to enhance their quality of life.
- Assist with medication reminders and document care activities in electronic health records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized living environment for all residents.
Qualifications
- Current Kansas CNA (STNA) Certification or valid LPN/RN license.
- Proof of completion of a state-approved nursing assistant program.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (ACLS preferred).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move patients safely.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
