Responsibilities
- Provide daily living assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation to ensure a safe living environment.
- Monitor and record client vital signs and report changes in condition to the nursing supervisor.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and recreational activities as needed.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of care provided.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not always required.
- Candidates must be willing to complete a paid training program and obtain certification.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and assisting patients with mobility.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Current driver's license and reliable transportation are highly preferred.
