Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as required.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, vacuuming, and dishwashing to maintain a safe living environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in meaningful conversation and activities.
- Assist with mobility, including walking, transferring, and providing necessary physical support.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical or emotional condition to the registered nurse or supervisor.
- Administer medication reminders and document care logs accurately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CNA, PCA, or HHA certification is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level applicants.
- Valid Colorado Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- CPR and Basic First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and families.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to perform lifting and standing tasks throughout the shift.
