Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Monitor and accurately report changes in a client's physical or mental condition to the supervising nurse.
- Remind clients to take medication at scheduled times.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social events, or therapy sessions.
- Foster a warm, safe, and supportive environment to reduce client isolation.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is highly preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable personal transportation required.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a patient demeanor.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and assist patients as required by the job duties.
