Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding according to dietary restrictions.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, reporting any changes to the nursing supervisor.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their quality of life.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks related to client care, such as laundry and making beds.
- Transport clients to medical appointments or social activities as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated approach to patient care.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
