Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to dietary restrictions.
- Monitor client health and report changes in condition to the supervising nurse.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a safe environment.
- Provide transportation to medical appointments and errands.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current CNA or HHA certification preferred.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to lift and assist patients (up to 50 lbs).
