Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in acute care settings with specialized focus on assigned unit (ICU, ER, Med-Surg)
- Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and implement evidence-based nursing interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care and positive outcomes
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document electronic health records accurately
- Adhere to facility protocols, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements
- Provide patient education and support to promote health and wellness
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay current with best practices
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Minnesota or compact state with ability to obtain MN license
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in specialty area
- BLS, ACLS, and appropriate specialty certifications (e.g., TNCC, PALS)
- Strong assessment skills and ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to adapt to new clinical settings and work various shifts
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with diverse patient populations
- Must pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
