Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections following OSHA/JCAH standards
- Process and label specimens with meticulous attention to detail
- Verify patient identity and maintain accurate electronic health records
- Prepare specimens for transport to diagnostic laboratories
- Provide patient education during blood draw procedures
- Maintain clean, organized collection areas and equipment

Qualifications
- Current Michigan Phlebotomy Technician certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in venipuncture
- BLS/CPR certification from accredited provider
- Proficient in specimen processing and handling protocols
