Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Administer medication as directed by the Registered Nurse (RN) or Physician.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to improve their quality of life.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including meal preparation and laundry.
- Transport clients to and from medical appointments or community outings.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or CNA is a plus but not always required.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
