Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor client health and report any changes in physical or mental condition to the supervising nurse or case manager.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Light housekeeping and laundry services as assigned to maintain a safe living environment.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and errands using a reliable vehicle.
- Administer prescribed medication and document intake accurately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid California driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
