Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in the patient's condition to the supervising nurse.
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to improve their quality of life.
- Administer medication as directed by the care plan and physician orders.
- Transport patients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, or community outings.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of daily care activities and patient progress.
Qualifications
- Current California Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- Valid CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid California Driver's License and proof of insurance.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Experience with mobility assistance and elderly care is preferred.
