As a Home Health Aide, you will be the vital link in helping our patients maintain their independence and quality of life within the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, mood, and daily health status accurately.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist patients with feeding if required.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to foster a sense of well-being.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks related to patient care, such as laundry and cleaning.
- Transport patients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and community outings.
- Administer medication reminders and report any changes in condition to the supervising nurse.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Home Health Aide (HHA) certification in California.
- High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid California Driver's License and proof of auto insurance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to safely lift and assist patients weighing up to 200 lbs.
- Pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
