Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs and daily health status.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist clients with feeding as required.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to improve the client's quality of life.
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules and report any side effects to the supervisor.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks specific to the client's care.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and community events.
Qualifications
- Current State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required.
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable personal transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strict adherence to care plans.
- Physical stamina to lift, bend, and assist patients as needed.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
