Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor patients' health status and report any changes or concerns to the nursing supervisor immediately.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry tasks.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Administer medication and treatment plans as directed by the Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Transport patients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, or social outings using a personal vehicle.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient care logs and documentation.
Qualifications
- Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Valid Washington State Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
