Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and report changes to the nursing staff.
- Prepare light meals and assist with meal planning and nutritional needs.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks to maintain a safe environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to patients and families.
- Administer prescribed medications under the supervision of a nurse.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid Missouri Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and assist patients (up to 50 lbs).
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
