Responsibilities
- Prepare and package prescribed medications for patients using our advanced automated dispensing systems.
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, and potential drug interactions.
- Manage inventory levels, track expiration dates, and restock pharmaceutical supplies.
- Assist customers with prescription transfers, refills, and general pharmacy inquiries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace in compliance with HIPAA and FDA regulations.
- Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure optimal patient therapy outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current and active Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT) required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
- Valid Arizona Pharmacy Technician License.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
