Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide basic homemaking services such as light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and report changes in the client’s physical or emotional condition to the RN Case Manager.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and community outings as needed.
- Administer medications as prescribed and documented according to state regulations.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to improve the client’s quality of life.
Qualifications
- Current Oregon Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.
