As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support to clients in their homes, ensuring they maintain their independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and light exercises as directed by the nurse.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning and feeding.
- Medication reminders and documentation of daily care logs.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks to maintain a safe environment.
- Communicate any changes in the client's condition to the on-call nurse or supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid state-required certification (CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide license) is preferred.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable work ethic.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
