We are looking for individuals who are patient, reliable, and eager to provide exceptional personal care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Personal Care Assistance: Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take prescribed medications and observe for any adverse reactions.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions.
- Mobility Support: Help clients move around the home safely, including transferring from bed to wheelchair.
- Companionship: Engage clients in conversation, hobbies, and social activities to improve mental well-being.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe living environment for the client.
- Documentation: Accurately complete daily logs and progress notes regarding patient status.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience as a CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide is preferred but not required for entry-level candidates.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Certification: Current Illinois CNA or Home Health Aide certification is a plus.
- Valid Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Compassion: A genuine passion for helping the elderly and disabled.
