Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and fill prescriptions under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.
- Process insurance claims and verify patient information using pharmacy management software.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving deliveries, stocking shelves, and performing monthly audits.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering questions regarding medications and store policies.
- Assist with sterile compounding and maintaining a clean, organized pharmacy environment.
- Handle cash transactions and manage the Point of Sale (POS) system.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; a Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) is a plus but not required for paid training applicants.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with high accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with learning new software systems.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
