Responsibilities
- Personal Care Assistance: Provide compassionate support with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
- Companionship: Build meaningful relationships with clients through conversation, recreational activities, and emotional support.
- Medication Reminders: Assist clients with taking medications at scheduled times while strictly adhering to safety protocols.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for clients, including meal preparation and light laundry.
- Monitoring: Observe and report changes in client behavior, physical condition, or concerns to the Nursing Supervisor.
- Transportation: Accompany clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, or social outings as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED: Required.
- Valid Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- CPR/First Aid Certification: Preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Compassion & Patience: A genuine desire to help others and a patient demeanor.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
