Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with medication reminders
- Perform light housekeeping and errands to maintain client safety
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to clinical team
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance quality of life
- Document care activities accurately in client records
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and agency protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional home health aide experience
- Current California HHA certification and CPR certification
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Compassionate demeanor with strong communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Spanish fluency highly preferred
- Experience with dementia/Alzheimer's care a plus
