As a Home Health Aide, you will assist clients with daily living activities, monitor their health, and provide the companionship they need to thrive at home.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Monitor vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature, and report any abnormalities.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and cleaning, to maintain a safe environment.
- Accurately document daily care logs and communicate changes in patient condition to supervisors.
- Transport clients to medical appointments or run errands using personal vehicle.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid certification.
- Valid Driver’s License and proof of insurance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
