Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide medication reminders and document care accurately in the electronic health record.
- Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and errands.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to reduce isolation.
- Monitor client health and report any changes to the supervising nurse.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities.
Qualifications
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) certification or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) license.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate nature.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Experience in a home care setting is preferred but not required.
