Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean living environment.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, or social outings.
- Monitor and report changes in a client’s physical or mental condition to the nursing supervisor.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist with mobility issues using wheelchairs or walkers.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) in Nevada.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift, stand, and bend for extended periods.
