Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing, to ensure client hygiene and comfort.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics to prevent injury.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a safe living environment.
- Monitor and document vital signs and report any changes in the client's physical or emotional condition to the Registered Nurse.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in meaningful activities and conversation.
- Administer medications as directed by the case manager and ensure accurate documentation of care provided.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and errands as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or CNA certification preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others.
- Physical stamina to perform caregiving duties, including lifting and assisting patients.
- Reliable transportation to travel between client homes.
