Responsibilities
- Provide daily personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition
- Assist with mobility transfers and ambulation using proper techniques
- Document patient care accurately and maintain electronic health records
- Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care
- Support patients with activities of daily living in a dignified manner
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments
Qualifications
- Current Kentucky CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent CNA experience in a long-term care or hospital setting
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
