Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and prevent falls.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Document patient care activities, observations, and responses to treatment accurately in electronic medical records.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing staff, physicians, and patients/families to ensure holistic care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the RN or physician.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required; Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help patients improve their quality of life.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between facilities if necessary.
